摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the occurrence of erroneous detection due to a factor, such as adhesion of unexpected bouncing water to a detector, by a method wherein a control loop to decide that the quantity of drain exceeds a prescribed value is divided into a plurality of loops. SOLUTION: A detector 13 detects drain gathering in an amount exceeding a water storage amount in a drain pan 9. Operation of an air-conditioner is started and detection of drain by the detector 13 is also started (S1). Usually, drain gathering in the drain pan 9 is pumped up by a drain pump 10 and is discharged to the outside of a machine through a drain hose 11 and decision of air is effected by a detector 13 (S2). In which case, when, for example, drain generated by a heat-exchanger 8 drips in the drain pan 9, water drip is adhered to the detector 13 due to some reason and it is decided by the detector 13 (S3) that detector is present in water. Even in this case, since a decision loop of further one state is provided, at adhesion of water drip to this extent, it is decided (S4) that it is in air. This constitution prevents the occurrence of abnormal display (S5) at a display part 8.
