PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a circuit for driving a DC brushless motor which is provided with a deceleration and quick-stop function by a method wherein an electrification changeover circuit has a braking circuit by which a switching element used to supply a discharge current from a driving coil to the driving coil is turned on by means of a start stop signal. SOLUTION: When a reference signal 83c is input, a braking circuit 833 inside an electrification changeover circuit 83 turns on an output signal to a switching element, for driving-coil electrification, in a switching circuit 84 through a logic circuit 832, and the switching element is set to a state equal to a short-circuit state. Consequently, the driving coil of a motor 5 is short- circuited in every phase, a power generation current is regenerated and consumed, and the rotation stop time of the motor 5 is shortened. In the CD brushless motor 5 which is miniaturized, reduces cost and speed up, its winding resistance is small, and its speed of rotation is large. As a result, a comparatively large power-generation current is obtained, and its moment of inertia is small, and it is possible to obtain a braking torque which is sufficiently large to shorter the rotation stop time of the motor 5. |
