发明名称 METHOD OF PREPARING PECTIN FROM APPLE HUSKS
摘要 FIELD: food industry. SUBSTANCE: parent raw is subjected for steaming for 15 min. to remove inert substances and acid-thermic hydrolysis is carried out with 1-1.5% citric acid solution. Milled apple husks (size particle is 0.6-4.0 mm) (wet and sulfitated) after steaming is subjected for washing out at hydromodule 1:6 and 50-60 C. Pulp (solid residue) is separated, extractant is removed and solid residue is subjected for acid-thermic hydrolysis with 1-1.5% citric acid solution (hydrolysate pH 2.0-2.5) at hydromodule 1: 6 followed by hydrolysate removing by filtration. Pulp is extracted with water at ratio pulp : water = 1:5 for complete extraction of pectin substances. Pulp is separated and removed and a mixture hydrolysate-extract is evaporated under vacuum to pectin substances content 10-12% to ABC. Obtained pectin concentrate is precipitated and washed out with ethyl alcohol, dried by spraying or in vacuum-drying unit followed by milling.
