PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an increase in revolutions of a motor even when power for control is stopped in an motive power generating device, in which a prime mover and a motor are connected to a drive shaft through a three-axle motive power input/output means. SOLUTION: A first driving circuit 191 is connected to a battery 194 by using a normal-open relay SMR1 and a diode D7 put in a forward state in a direction from the first driving circuit 191 in parallel with the relay SMR 1 to the battery 194. Even when power for control is stopped, the first driving circuit functions as a three-phase full-wave rectification circuit, and a motor MG1 is connected to the battery 194 through the three-phase full-wave rectification circuit and the diode D7. Then, the motor MG1 functions as a generator, and the battery 194 is charged by the power obtained. While torque is added to the motor NG1, an increase in revolutions of the motor MG1 is prevented by the torque. |
