摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce external force so as to restrain the rotation fluctuation of a rotating member, the irregularity of the behavior of a recording paper, and the irregularity of the action of another member in contact with the recording paper by detecting the thickness of the recording paper, calculating a skew angle given to the recording paper based on the paper thickness data, and controlling a resist roll based on the calculated result. SOLUTION: The thickness of the recording paper 6 is detected by an optical reflection type paper thickness detecting sensor 9, and the paper thickness data are outputted to an arithmetically calculating part 17. The skew angleΔθis calculated based on the paper thickness data at the part 17. A control signal is outputted to driving circuits 16A to 16D based on the skew angleΔθso as to cause difference between the rotational speed of the resist roll 10A, (10B) and that of the resist roll 10C, (10D), so that the paper 6 obtains data obtained by adding and subtracting the skew angleΔθto the skew angle data. Thus, since the paper 6 enters between each photoreceptor and a transfer roller at the skew angle, the external force given to each photoreceptor is reduced, so that the rotation fluctuation can be restrained.</p>
