PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin composition for dispersing a light-collecting agent for a liquid crystal display which has intimate contact with a substrate sheet, good thermal resistance, good dispersibility and good resistance to water, while maintaining sufficient light intensity required for improving the contrast in a liquid crystal display. SOLUTION: This coating resin composition for dispersing a light-collecting agent for a liquid crystal display is prepared by dispersing light-collecting beads in a copolyester resin having a metal sulfonate-containing group in its molecule in an amount of 0.01wt.% to 3wt.% in terms of the sulfur content, wherein the copolyester resin has an acid component comprising a dicarboxylic acid and a glycol component comprising 10 to 100 mole % of an alkylene glycol and 90 to 0% of another glycol and has a reduced viscosity of 0.10dl/g or more. |
