The invention concerns a glider comprising a wing unit capable of taking the form of a streamlined wing, the wing unit including an upper surface (4) and a lower surface (6) defining a leading edge (8) and a trailing edge (10), the glider comprising a harness (13), front rigging lines (16) and rear rigging lines (16) linking the wing unit to the harness, the glider comprising narrow and elongated stringers (14) for being connected to the wing unit. Each stringer extends from a zone near the leading edge up to a zone near the trailing edge (10), each stringer (14) being adapted to adopt a curved aerodynamic shape similar to the shape of the wing surface, upper or lower, against which it is placed in flight once the wing is loaded by the pilot.
