Antenna has row(s) of antenna elements (7) forming an array and with parasitic elements (8a, 8b) in the gaps between them and extending parallel to the centre line (C) of the row. Each antenna element transmits and/or receives dual polarised mutually orthogonal waves defining two mutually isolated channels. The parasitic elements provide a phase shifted direct coupling between adjacent elements that reduces inter-channel coupling. The parasitic elements may be of polypropylene, polyvinylchloride with a dielectric constant > 2 or conductive. These elements may wires and/or rods whose length is at least one eighth of the wavelength.
