PURPOSE:To suppress temperature rise at the outer periphery of a storage chamber by forcibly operating a compressor during a quick cooling, a quick thawing of a refrigerator and for preset time after the quick thawing. CONSTITUTION:A compressor 11 is forcibly continuously operated at the time of quick cooling to maintain the temperature of chilled gas to be introduced low. At the time of quick thawing, a chilled gas damper 4 is closed by a com mand of a controller 16, the compressor is forcibly continuously operated, and a temperature in a cold storage chamber is lowered to prevent the temperature at the outer periphery of the chamber from abnormally rising. If the quick thawing is advanced, the energization of a thawing heater 7 is stopped at a preset temperature by a temperature sensor 9 set in a suction port 8a of a through fan. When preset time is elapsed after the quick thawing is finished, the compressor is stopped, and the forcibly continuous operation of the compres sor is stopped. |
