PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a PHS(personal handy phone system) terminal to be used indoor and to make both a speech in a PHS system and a speech in a public telephone line network. SOLUTION: The repeater 4 relays a call between a PHS base station 5 and a PHS portable terminal 1. Thus, the PHS portable terminal 1 is in use even in a house 6 where a radio wave is weak. Then the repeater 4 has a function equivalent to that of a slave set 2B of a cordless telephone set 2 and an inter-conversion function of communication and voice between a PHS system and the cordless telephone set. The PHS portable terminal 1 is used to attain call transmission and call reception in a public telephone line network 3 and a speech in the public telephone line network 3 through the functions. Thus, PHS portable terminal 1 receives an incoming call in the PHS portable telephone system and an incoming call in the public telephone line network. |
