PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to easily form black matrices and colored pixel parts and to improve the characteristics required as color filters by immersing a substrate formed with the colored pixel parts into black ink, thereby forming light shielding parts. SOLUTION: An ink absorptive resin layer 2 is formed on a transparent substrate 1 and photosetting inks of red, green and blue (R, G, B) contg. a photosetting resin compsn. are discharged onto the transparent substrate 1 by using an ink jet recorder, by which the colored pixels are formed. The photosetting resin compsn. is exposed via a photomask 4 and is cured to fix the color materials, by which the colored pixel parts 5 are formed. The substrate 1 is immersed into the photosetting black ink in which the photosetting resin compsn. similar to the photosetting resin compsn. of the R, G, B inks and a black coloring agent, such as carbon black, are incorporated to have the black ink absorbed in the ink absorptive resin layers 2 of the region exclusive of the colored pixel parts 5. For example, the entire surface of the transparent substrate 1 is exposed to cure the photosetting resin compsn. in the black ink, by which the black light shielding parts 7 are formed between the colored pixel parts 5. |
