<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate the regeneration of a deodorizing filter and to maintain excellent adsorption efficiency over a long period by making a dust collecting and deodorizing filter made of a dust collecting filter and the deodorizing filter, forming the deodorizing filter from one containing a porous adsorbent and freely detachably attaching to an air conditioner. SOLUTION: The dust collecting and deodorizing filter used for the air conditioner of automobile is constituted of the dust collecting filter and the deodorizing filter and had a structure capable of disassembling into the dust collecting filter and deodorizing filter. The deodorizing filter has a honeycomb structure consisting essentially of an activated carbon and is formed by applying the absorbent on the surface of a carrier. And the deodorizing filter is formed to have a cell density of 100-800/in<2> and uses one kind of an element selected from a group composed of Pt, Pd, Rh, Ir, Os, Au and the like and if necessary, one kind of an element selected from a group composed of Al, Ce, La, Pr, Zr and the like as the catalytic components contained in the absorbent and decomposing the adsorbed malodor component.</p> |
