摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a resin varnish hardly flow out from an end part of a base material and make the end part of the base material hardly fray, by coating the base material excepting the end part with a first resin varnish, heating it, impregnating the first resin varnish into the base material, and coating the end part of the base material with a next resin varnish. SOLUTION: One face of a continuous base material 1 to be supplied continuously is coated with a resin varnish 2 (a first resin varnish) at a part (the central part of the base material) 12 excepting an end part 11 of the base material, while non-coated part of the base material end part 11 is being left. Next, the resin varnish 2 is heated in a heating and impregnating furnace 3, so that the viscosity of the resin varnish 2 applied on the central part 12 of the base material is lowered and the base material 1 is impregnated with the resin varnish 2. A resin varnish moving means 5 is made to be in contact with the resin varnish 2 whose viscosity is lowered by heating, the resin varnish 2 applied on the central part 12 of the base material is moved to the base material end part 11 so as to supply, and the base material end part 11 is coated with the resin varnish 2 (a second resin varnish).
