PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate the need for manufacturing a small path separately and to simplify a structure and reduce the number of parts by forming a temperature-sensitive resistor or a heat-generation resistor or both of them at a plate-type insulator. SOLUTION: A main path 4 and a small path 5 where partial air flows in are formed inside a body 3 where plastic and a metal material is formed, for example, by injection molding. A heat generation resistor 1 and a temperature- sensitive resistor 2 that become air flow-rate measurement elements are installed in parallel with or at a certain angle to an air flow being stored in a small path 5. After the temperature-sensitive resistor 2 or the heat-generation resistor 1 is formed on an insulation substrate, the insulation substrate is formed in a cylinder, elliptical cylinder, or polygonal cylinder shape. Parts being incorporated in the body 3 are the heat-generation resistor 1 as well as the small path 5 that plays a role of the temperature-sensitive resistor 2, thus improving assembly property and reducing the number of parts. The small path 5 and the heat- generation resistor 1 can be positioned easily and the position accuracy of the heat-generation resistor 1 and the temperature-sensitive resistor 2 improves, thus enhancing an air flow-rate measurement accuracy.
|
