PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a structure in which a convecting circulation of heated water in a stored hot water feeding tank 2 is made superior and a repairing and maintenance of a heater device is easily carried out. SOLUTION: A heater device 1 in an electrical hot water heater is constructed such that there is provided a heater for heating thermal medium water. This comprises an evaporating section 10 for generating steam S from thermal medium water heated by the heater; a heat radiating section 20 provided with a heat transfer pipe 21 heated by the steam S, heating heated water F fed into the heat transfer pipe 21 by the steam S, and flowing out the heated water F flowed from a lower end 21B of the heat transfer pipe 21 into the heat transfer pipe 21 out of the upper end 21C of the heat transfer pipe 21; and a communicating section 30 formed with an opening 37 for communicating the inside part of the evaporating section 10 with the inside part of the heat radiating section 20m, wherein the heat radiating section 20 is positioned inside the stored hot water feeding tank 2 filled with heated water F. The heat radiating section 20 in the heater device 1 is positioned near an inner wall surface 2A of the stored hot water feeding tank 2 and the evaporating section 10 of the heater device 1 is positioned at an outer surface of the stored hot water feeding tank 2.
