The invention concerns a tyre comprising a running tread made up of two radial plies in which the reinforcing filler is mostly silica, the radially upper ply (8) being made conductive by a ring-shaped insert (11) perpendicular to the surface of said running tread, a crown reinforcement (9) and a body reinforcement (1) made conductive by (a) conductive mix(es) coating the cables, said reinforcements being separated from each other by a profile (6) consisting of a rubber mix slightly filled with black or with a silica base, and a conductive connection of electric charges connecting the running tread to the mounting rim, the connection between two conductive plies or plies made conductive (8, 9, 1) separated by a non-conductive ply (7, 6) consisting of at least one strip (12, 13) of rubber mix of slight thickness, width and length, set between the two welding surfaces of the non-conductive ply and in contact with means causing the two plies linked by the connection to become conductive.
