PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive liquid crystal display panel with a high numerical aperture of a pixel electrode and its manufacture. SOLUTION: A color filter is formed on the pixel electrode 4 in an array substrate 5 selectively and self-matchedly, and a light shield area is formed on the array substrate 5 that the pixel electrode 4 exists also, and is stuck between a counter electrode substrate 6 and the array substrate 5. In such a case, even when deviation exists, the light shield area is secured so that a light shield property by black matrix is obtained sufficiently without being affected by its sticking deviation, and a positioning margin between the black matrix and the pixel electrode 4 is reduced. |
