PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrain deformation of a film when an ion exchange membrane is set under a dry state by a method wherein a separated body is arranged in a concentration chamber of an electrodialitic tank, an ion exchange membrane is built in the electrodialitic tank under the dry state, and water is passed through the electrodialitic tank bringing the ion exchange membrane into contact with the separating body with pressure from a desalting chamber side. SOLUTION: An anion exchange membrane A and a cation exchange membrane K are arranged in an electrodialitic tank to partition an anode chamber 2, concentration chambers S1 to Sn , desalting cambers R1 to Rn , and a cathode chamber 3, and ion exchange membrane A, K are contained in the desalting chambers R1 to Rn . Further spacers N1 to Nn as a separating body are arranged in the concentration cambers S1 -Sn . By impressing a voltage between both electrodes 4, 5 during operation, an anion component is solution to be treated which is introduced to the desalting chambers R1 to Rn from a duct 6 is transferred by permeation to the concentration chamber to the anode side through the anion exchange membrane A. Besides, the cation component in the liquid to be treated is transferred by permeation to the cathode side concentration chamber through the cation exchange membrane K to deionize the liquid to be treated, which is discharged through a duct 7. |
