<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow cleaning liquid to forcibly flow so as to prevent deposition of salt on a plunger seal by providing a liquid-tight cleaning chamber behind a plunger seal outside of a pump head, and a cleaning liquid supplying device for feeding the cleaning liquid through the cleaning chamber by means of a liquid feeding pump. SOLUTION: A plunger seal 34a for allowing a plunger 32a to slide in a liquid-tight state and movably supporting it is disposed behind of another plunger seal 30a. A clearance 36a defined between both the plunger seals 30a, 34a serves as a cleaning chamber in which cleaning liquid 40 flows. Another cleaning chamber 36b is formed behind a plunger seat 30b by plunger seals 30b, 34b. The two cleaning chambers 36a, 36b are connected to each other via a passage. The cleaning liquid 40 is fed to the cleaning chamber 36a by a cleaning pump, to the cleaning chamber 36b through the cleaning chamber 36a, and finally, returns to a cleaning liquid bottle through the cleaning chamber 36b. Water can be used as the cleaning liquid 40.</p> |
