<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To apply a pattern to the surface of a rubber dam in a simple method. SOLUTION: Rubber tapes 14 are applied to the surface of a grey rubber film 10 in a striped pattern. Portions where the rubber tapes 14 are applied protrude from the surface of the rubber film 10 in a stage where the rubber film 10 with the rubber tapes 14 applied thereto is placed on a vulcanizing press machine 20. In this stage, when it is pressurized and vulcanized, the rubber tapes are made integral with the rubber film 10, causing no uneveness on the surface of the rubber film, thereby making it possible to form a pattern in various colours on the surface of the rubber film 10. Moreover, since it is vulcanized, the peeling of the rubber tapes 14 can be prevented.</p> |
