<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable the selection of an air cleaning mode according to purposes and to improve operability by providing the air cleaner with both of a device for blasting by a fan and a device for blasting by inducing ion wind and constituting the air cleaner in such a manner that the air is sucked by orthogonally crossing the flow passage of the ion wind at the time of running of a fan. SOLUTION: The body case 4 of the air cleaner 2 is opened on the front surface side, a front cover 5 which is an air suction part over the greater part is mounted in this opening. The depth of the part formed by backward recessing the aperture of the front surface part is constituted as a filter mounting part 6 where a filter is freely attachably and detachably mounted. The rear part of this filter mounting part 6 is provided with a fan housing section 8 where the fan 1 is disposed. When the filter is mounted at the filter mounting part 6 in such a manner, a space is formed between the front cover 5 and the filter and this space is constituted as the flow passage 3 for the ion wind. The front surface part of the main body case 4 is provided with an ion wind blow-off port 15. The upper part and lower part of the flow passage 3 of the ion wind are respectively provided with first and second discharge electrode blocks 16, 17.</p> |
