<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the clogging of hollow fiber membrances without performing the back wash of hollow fiber membranes and to prevent the lowering of the filtering capacity of hollow fiber membranes. SOLUTION: A passage of hot water W flowing through a filter tank 18 is divided into a passage not passing through the membrane pores of a hollow fiber membrane 30 and passages passing through the membrane holes. That is, the passage direction of hot water W in the filter tank 13 is set to the opening direction of the cavity part 30a of the hollow fiber membrane 30 and the direction crossing the cavity part 30a at a right angle (opening direction of membrane pors 30). As a result, impurities bonded to the membrane pores 30b of the hollow fiber membrane 30 can be removed to a certain degree by the pressure of hot water W flowing from the inflow port 31a of the filter tank 18 to an emitting port 32a through the cavity part 30a. By this constitution, the advance degree of the clogging of the membrane pores 30b can be suppressed and the life of the hollow filter membrane 30 can be extended to a large extent.</p> |
