<p>The invention belongs to any heat exchange device in which solid fuel is burned. The device (fig.1) principle is that fumes from fuel burned in container (10) fuel portion (12) move down through heat exchange surface (15) via exhaust channels (14) to the collector (15) and chimney (6). Heated air or water moves up over the heat exchange surface and a counter current heat exchange takes place. Uniform distribution of fume flow over furnace perimeter is controlled by inserts located in exhaust channels (14). The cross-sectional area of fume flow of the offered device is equal to the cross-sectional area of exhaust flow of prototype furnace, but area of wave form side surfaces (15) is more than the area of the prototype by a factor of 2.5.If each furnace of a device for heating air or water equipped with two furnaces is heated with a defined time delay, the production of heat is uniform and continues according to need and the average hourly output of the device is up to 45% greater than that of a device with only one furnace. Simultaneous operation of both furnaces doubles the output of the device.<IMAGE></p> |
