摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain glass roving which hardly gives rise to an impregnation defect in FW molding and drawing molding and has a reinforcing effect in a direction perpendicular to glass fibers as strand bundles are liable to spread by doubling plural pieces of first strands varying in strand yarn number count and plural pieces of second strands. SOLUTION: A bundling agent consisting of a high-polymer emulsion is applied on glass filaments having a single fiber diameter of >=16μm and plural pieces of the filaments are bundled and are dried to obtain the first strands having the large strand yarn number count. The bundling agent consisting of the high-polymer emulsion is applied on the glass filaments having the single fiber diameter of >=15μm and after plural pieces of the filaments are bundled, the bundles are dried to obtain the second strands having the difference in the yarn number count from the first strands of >=400 and the small strand yarn number count. One to plural pieces of such first strands and plural pieces of the second strands are doubled in the state that the second strands bundle is slightly slackened on the circumference of the first strands.
