FIELD: construction; acoustics.SUBSTANCE: main mat for acoustic ceiling tiles obtained by using a wet method, containing 50 % or more fibres of mineral wool based on dry weight, containing solid inclusions, less than 9 % of binder, from 5 to 20 % of chopped filamentous glass fibre and, optionally, minimum amounts of other components, where chopped filamentous glass fibre ensures formation and/or support of voids in the base, so that the density of dry main mat is approximately 120-168 kg/m(from approximately 7-1/2 to approximately 10-1/2 pounds per cubic feet) and NRC (noise reduction coefficient) is substantially greater than 0.55.EFFECT: disclosed is a main mat for acoustic ceiling tiles obtained by unsing a wet method.4 cl, 4 dwg |
