<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ignition transformer with improved performance by providing a core for increasing the degree of coupling between primary and secondary coil windings. SOLUTION: An ignition transformer has an insulation case 3, a primary bobbin 5 that is accommodated in the insulation case 3 and at the same time has a hollow part 4, a primary coil 6 that is wound around the outer periphery of the primary bobbin 5, a secondary bobbin 9 that is inserted into the hollow part 4 of the primary bobbin 5 and at the same time has a hollow part 8 where a secondary coil 7 is wound, a core 11 that is inserted into the hollow part 8 of the secondary bobbin 9 and at the same time is made of a lamination metal plate 10, and an insulation resin that is filled into the insulation case 3. Also, the core 11 is in hexagonal shape where all interior angles are obtuse angles in a sectional shape and at the same time an insulation resin is filled between a core 11 and the secondary bobbin 9, between the secondary bobbin 9 and the primary bobbin 5, and between the primary bobbin 5 and the insulation case 3.</p> |
