PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power controller for controlling power to be supplied to an information processor which makes it possible to evade the loss of the data of the information processor caused by power interruption. SOLUTION: This is a third power controller 50 which supplies power, and is fitted with means 62, 63 for obtaining current values in use, a means 42 which inquires of an upper second power controller 40 and obtains a marginal current value of its own apparatus, a means 61 for judging the marginal level of its own apparatus from the above-mentioned current value under use and the marginal current value, and a means 64 which performs or interrupts power supply to a low-order apparatus, in accordance with the margin level obtained from the above-mentioned current value in use and the marginal current value. |
