PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a switching power device capable of supplying a stabilized voltage efficiently, even if the voltage of a battery is lower or higher than the voltage of a load. SOLUTION: Phase-inverted two triangular waves are generated from a first and second triangular wave generating circuits 8, 9. Pulse signals are generated by comparing a signal proportional to a voltage level from either a first switching circuit DC for lowering an input voltage or a second switching circuit UC for boositing an input voltage, with the two triangular waves. The first and the second switching circuits DC, UC are controlled using these pulse signals. In addition, a pulse generating circuit 10 for generating a pulse synchronized with the triangular wave generating circuit is provided, and duty restriction is imposed on the boosting switching circuit by the output of the pulse generating circuit 10. |
