FIELD: horticulture. SUBSTANCE: spade has blade, shank and handle. Spade blade and shank are rigidly interconnected by bracket. Lower part of bracket is pointed and upper part is provided with divisions. Spade handle is made conical, with taper decreasing upward as flexure moment is reducing. Such construction allows muscle force applied for soil digging to be reduced, number of worker's bents and squattings to be reduced.
