PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly convenient platform door device with a simple constitution.SOLUTION: A platform door device of the embodiment includes a first rotary wheel, a second rotary wheel, a driving device, a wire rope, a plurality of entrances and a plurality of door parts. The driving device rotates the first rotary wheel. The wire rope is stretched across the first rotary wheel and the second rotary wheel, and constitutes a first wire rope and a second wire rope which move in the mutually opposite directions according to the rotation of the first rotary wheel. The plurality of entrances are provided on an edge part of the platform at which a train including a plurality of doors stops, and they perform opening/closing operations according to the operations of the first wire rope and the second wire rope. The plurality of door parts are provided between the plurality of entrances and they extend/contract by the opening/closing operations of the entrances.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
