<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide excellent welding workability by providing a clearance at a spiral part of a spring corner of a conduit tube for the gas-shielded metal arc welding to reduce the wire feeding resistance and to smooth the wire feedability. SOLUTION: A clearance W is provided at a spiral part of a spring coil liner 5 of a conduit tube to be used for the gas-shielded metal arc welding. The clearance W of the spring coil liner is 2.0<=W<=15 mm, and the angleθof the spiral part is preferablyθ<=70 deg.. When the spring coil liner 5 is used, the friction resistance in feeding the wire is reduced, and the wire is smoothly fed, and the stability of the arc is secured and a sound weld zone can be obtained. The spring coil liner 5 is difficult to generate the blinding condition with impurities, and the clearance W of the spring coil liner can be easily cleaned, ensuring the long-term service.</p> |
