SOLUTION: An underwater arranging type aeration apparatus B capable of performing aeration treatment even in a sewage treatment tank large in the depth of water is constituted so that a machine chamber C housing a blower and an electromotor is formed in a watertight state and equipped with an air suction pipe 5. At this time, the machine chamber C is arranged so as to be separated from the bottom part of the sewage treatment tank through a support 1 and an aerator A is arranged under the machine chamber C at a predetermined depth-of-water position. By this constitution, when the machine chamber C is arranged in water, the obstruction of the water flow of the sewage treatment tank and the stagnation of sludge on the bottom part of the sewage treatment tank are prevented. The machine chamber C is constituted so that a roof 21 having a triangular cross section is arranged on the upper part of a box body 2 and, by this constitution, sludge is not accumulated on the machine chamber C.</p> |
