摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the traveling property of a magnetic tape and to reduce its working cost by forming at least the sliding surface of a tape guide, which guides the travel of the magnetic tape from a tape supply side to a take-up side with the magnetic tape of a thermosetting resin compsn. compounded with potassium titanate fibers. SOLUTION: A rotary guide R' does not preferably has a tape guiding member fitted to the outer periphery of a rotating member R1'. The outer periphery of the rotating member R1' and the magnetic tape comes into direct contact. The potassium titanate fibers of the rotating member R1' are preferably incorporated therein at 2 to 35 pts.wt. of 100 pts.wt. thermosetting resin. The potassium titanate fibers are coated with metals, etc., by which electrical conductivity is imparted thereto and the sticking or the tape by the electrification of static charge occurring in the travel of the magnetic tape is suppressed. Since the hardness of the potassium titanate fiber themselves is as low as about 4 in Mohs hardness, the good sliding characteristic suppressing the flawing, etc., of the tape is obtd. The potassium titanate fibers are low in fiber orientation at the time of molding and are adequate as a molding material as well.</p>
