<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ATM(asynchronous transfer mode) transmitter capable of reducing a burden for an AAL(ATM adaptation layer) protocol processing at an interface board. SOLUTION: This transmitter is provided with plural interface boards 10-1 to 10-n, a control part 12 to control the plural interface boards 10-1 to 10-n and a switch part 11 to perform self-routing between the plural interface boards 10-1 to 10-n and the control part 12. And a signal from a user 2 or the other external device 3 is passed without performing an AAL termination, transferred to the control part 12 with the switch part 11 by the plural interface boards 10-1 to 10-n and the AAL terminal processing of a signal transferred for the interface boards 10-1 to 10-n is performed by the control part 12.</p> |
