<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a partially transparent or translucent window by hardware technique. SOLUTION: This is actualized by using a kind of chromakey technique. In concrete, two display memories (106, 108) are prepared and a display is made normally on the basis of data from one memory 106, but when a pixel of a specific color is read out of this memory, the pixel is displayed by being switched to data read out of the other memory 108. For a translucent part, a checkered pattern of the specific color and another color is only written in one memory. For example, when a control which exerts influence on a background screen in real time by operation is displayed, such operability that the result of operation can be confirmed in real time while the control is operated can be improved.</p> |
