<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a golf ball high in restitution performance, large in fly and proper in anti-flier property, which is unapt to cause flier even when shot from the rough. SOLUTION: In a golf ball comprising a core and a cover covering the core, the cover is composed of material having a complex resilience facto of 50-1500 kgf/cm<2> at -10 deg.C at a dynamic distortion of 5% in a temperature dispersion curve of dynamic visco-elasticity at a frequency of 10 Hz measured at a temperature increasing speed of 4 deg.C/min., and having an impact resilience of 50% o more by a tripsometer. As base material polymer of the cover, favorably, the base material polymer includes thermoplastic elastomer by 30 wt.% or more, and as the thermoplastic elastomer, styrene-based thermoplastic elastomer comprising block copolymer having polystyrene as hard segment, polybutadiene as soft segment, and polyisoprene or polyolefine is favorable.</p> |
