PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate the need for a dedicated negative power source and to prevent the transistor of drive circuit from being broken by providing a horizontal deflection circuit having wiring for connecting the power source of horizontal deflection output circuit and the horizontal deflection output circuit side of capacitor. SOLUTION: A capacitor 21 is inserted and the drive circuit sides of power source 7 and resistor 8 are connected through a resistor 22 and made ground by eliminating the negative power source. Because of this capacitor 21, an AC component Vg corresponding to a signal Vi of input terminal 17 is loaded to the gate of electrostatic induction type transistor (SIT) 1. Concerning this signal Vi, when a transistor 9 is turned on and a transistor 10 is turned off, the SIT 1 is turned on and after a charging current (Ig) for gate capacity flows through the capacitor 21, a gate current for lowering ON resistance flows through the resistor 22. When Vi is H, the SIT 1 is turned off. At this point, since a negative voltage VGS is loaded to Vg, a negative electrode can be eliminated and even when the SIT 1 is broken, a current can be shielded by the capacitor 21. |
