<p>Method of preparing a peptide in which a free amino acid whose amino function is a secondary amino group enters, as nucleophilic component, into a peptide bond with an N-protected amino acid or a derivative thereof as carboxyl donor in the presence of an enzyme. Preferably, a proline is used as nucleophilic component. Enzymes from moulds can be used as enzyme. Suitable enzymes are, for example, enzymes originating from the genus Rhizopus in particular of Rhizopus orizae.</p> |
