PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sound recording and reproducing device which can correct destroyed data and use a recording medium without reformatting, and further easily and speedily correct sound data. SOLUTION: This sound recording and reproducing device which manages sound data by files is provided with a recording medium loading part where a recording medium (memory card 33) can be loaded and unloaded, a detecting means (main control circuit 6) which detects whether or not management data of a file on the recording medium loaded in the recording medium loading part are normal, and a correcting means (main control circuit 6) which makes specific corrections when the management data of the file are not normal. |
