PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a substrate material not to give harm, one by formalin, on a human body, by heat-processing substrate cloth at a temperature lower than the melting point of a first polymer and higher than that of a second polymer. SOLUTION: For instance, polyester 1 with the melting point of 255-260 deg.C as a first polymer for the core part and polyester 2 with the melting point 155-165 deg.C as a second polymer for the sheath part are conjugate-processed. Using 250 d thick fiber 3 with a core and sheath structure, for instance, substrate cloth 4 with warp 18/inch and weft 20/inch is formed. A whole of the substrate cloth 4 is heated at a temperature slightly higher than the melting point of polyester 2, the second polymer, i.e., about 190 deg.C to mutually fuse second polyester 2 to make a substrate material 5. The sheath part polyester 2 with a lower melting point is mutually fused to make a rigid structure. This method can be used for several kinds of medical substrate materials which can be worked into a stereoscopic shape and used for a long time keeping initial physical properties.
|
