The bicyclic pyridines are produced by introducing therespective side chains by the conversion of the respectivealdehydes by means of Wittig- or Gringard reagents. They aresuitable active substances for medicamentous forms, in particularfor those used in the treatment of hyperlipoproteinemia andatherosclerosis.
