The invention refers to a device used in building agricultural machines, for marking the size of the holes and the material by imprinting on punched metal sheets, for identification purposes. According to the invention, the device addresses the issue of mechanical imprinting of marks on punched metal sheets. It consists of a frame (1) provided with two grips (2) for handling, inside which an anvil (3) is mounted, on which the metal sheet to be marked is placed, a gliding casing holder (4) on which a casing (6) is fastened with punches (7) by means of a landing skid (5). The casing (6) is actuated by means of two levers (8) and of two levers (9) by the pneumatic cylinder (10) joined by means of a pin (11) to the body (1) and controlled by a lever (12) of a pneumatic distributor (13). The alignment of the levers (8 and 9) during the process of imprinting and ensuring the maximum press power, irrespective of the thickness of the metal sheet, is achieved by inserting distance pieces (22) under the anvil (3).
