PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low profile oscillatory gyro. SOLUTION: The oscillatory gyro 10 comprises a piezoelectric 12 made of piezoceramic polarized in the thickness direction, and a pair of oscillation pieces 18, 20 wherein a first rectangular slit 22 is made longitudinally along the central axis of the oscillator 12. A drive electrode 32 is formed while surrounding the end part of the first slit 22 and second slits 24, 26 are made, respectively, on one end sides of the pair of oscillation pieces 18, 20. Detection electrodes 36, 38 are formed formed while surrounding the end part of the second slits 24, 26 and an earth electrode 44 is formed on the rear surface of the oscillator 12. |
