PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily perform document management by storing the relation between pages and a frame information storing part in a page information storing part. SOLUTION: A chapter list is prepared in each chapter and includes information of all chapters of the document and the pointer of a page list 124. The pointer designates the page list 124. The list 124 stores the information all the pages of each chapter and a pointer of a frame profile table 38. Here, the table 38 stores frame information such as the position (relative coordinates) of a frame of each frame, size, a kind and a frame number (No.). The table 38 is designated by the pointer of the list 124 and accesses frame information and content with the frame number (No.) as a key. This makes it easy to perform document management even when a document includes not only characters but also images, graphs, etc. |
