PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a machine translation device for efficiently operating translation by storing only a sentence or a character string to be translated by a user in a storing means in an end batch translation mode. SOLUTION: Only a character string to be translated in a text in a file to be translated in a batch is designated by surrounding it by a text reading start symbol and a test reading end symbol (S3). Then, at the time of reading a text, characters are read from the head of a file one by one, and the text reading is started from the text reading start symbol (S8), and the text reading is ended at the text reading end symbol (S11). The read text is divided into each sentence by a preliminarily decided code such as a line feed code, and stored in a text storage area (S12), and this part is translated (S13). On the other hand, a character string which is not surrounded by each symbol is not stored or translated. |
