摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently generate a rule for machine translation by excluding vagueness without any interference of a human being. SOLUTION: First natural language words and phrases including one varying part and second natural language words and phrases semantically corresponding to this are inputted (S11), and the morpheme and syntax analysis of the first and second natural language words and phrases is operated (S12 and S13). Then, the grammatical function of the overall words and phrases and the grammatical function of words and phrases to be inputted into the varying part are decided from the both analyzed results (S14, S15, S16, S17), and a translation rule is generated from the analyzed results of the first and second natural language words and phrases, the grammatical function of the overall words and phrases, and the grammatical function of the varying part (S18).
