Apparatus for scooping up animal excrement stools comprising in combination a two-halved jawed scooper for collecting and retaining animal excrement stools fr om the ground, comprising a first arm and a second arm opposed and connected one to the other under bias to define a bag-receiving chamber and having handle portions defining manually grippable handle means to effect operable displacement of said first ar m relative to said second arm against said bias and terminal portions defining jaw means; a nd bag-retaining means for retaining a flexible bag for use within said chamber; an d a plurality of flexible bags. The apparatus provides an easy convenient and hygienic collection system.
