Once the article has been put on, it is changed by tearing along one or more lines through the absorption body. An absorbent hygiene article (1) such as a nappy or incontinence pad comprises a liquid-tight surface layer (2) on the outside of the article, a liquid-permeable surface layer (3) worn next to the skin, and an absorption body (4) enclosed by these two surface layers. At least one adhesive tape tab (6) is provided for sticking to at least one tab receiving region (7) in order to hold the article around the waist. At least one opening line (8) in the article is used to tear the article and open it up once the tabs are in place, without having to unstick the tabs from the article. |
