Three dimensional ultrasound medical imaging system

A 3D imaging system used in medical diagnostics uses ultrasound that allows 2D image slices 300 to be used as the basis. The 2D slice signals are processed to create a large 3D block 30 and this can be subdivided into small 3D blocks 304. Ultra sound is transmitted through tissue and changes are identified.
