FIELD: metallurgy. SUBSTANCE: tilter has two hinged platforms interconnected by hinges and locks. Each platform has two wheel halves, extensible tie-rods fixed by clamp, receptacles, guides and restrictors. To restrict angle of rotation of tilter, wheel halves are provided with shoes and handle. Tilter may be mounted on roller support. Tilter with hearth section may be rotated by lever which reduces force applied by tilter. EFFECT: increased efficiency by smooth tilting operation, reliable block-rod contact and reduced damage to hearth block. 2 cl, 3 dwg |
